REVIEW: Stardust (2007)
Do you ever feel bored of nowadays' movies? Most of the movies that are in theatre right now are either science-fiction or thriller,and sometimes romance or animation. If you feel so then you should try watching Stardust,it is a romance-fantasy movie by Matthew Vaughn,it tells the story of a regular boy named Tristan Thorne who lives in a village called "The Wall". Tristan is living quite a boring life,he had a crush on village beauty named Victoria. Unfortunately for Tristan,Victoria is ignoring his feelings and uses Tristan to help her with everyday chords;such as carrying her things around. One night when Tristan and Victoria is sitting on the hills,a star falls. Seeing that,Victoria asks Tristan to get the falling star for her,in exchange for that Victoria agrees to marry Tristan. Having marrying Victoria in his mind,Tristan goes on a journey to get that fallen star. Unfortunately, Tristan is not the only one who wanted to get that star. There are three witches that wanted to eat the heart of the star,in order to stays young forever. The movie tells us the adventure that Tristan go through in order to get and protect the star. What happens next is going to change Tristan's life and finds his true love. This is really a beautiful movie and a must-watch even if you only liked romance movie a bit. This movie is different than other fantasy movies in any way. Although maybe some parts of the movie is cliche, it really makes the movie more likable. This movie is suitable for couples,or even to watch together with family. Now go buy yourself some Stardust DVD's!
