Sicko is a movie that tells me about the health care system in United States. The movie maker, Michael Moore, decided to do an investigation and comparison of health care services in another countries, such as Canada and UK. From this movie, it is terrible, sad, and even upset for those people who are desperately need funds for their own medical treatment, and the health insurance companies that they sent their application to, had been denied their application due to unimaginable and ridiculous reasons. It says on the movie that based on Michael's interview with one of the health insurance companies' employee, she mentioned that people who suffer from diseases, such as anaemia, cannot get the insurance. In the movie, Michael also interviewed some of the US people regarding to the rejection of their application. A mother of a teenage boy told him that his son could not afford it because he is 'too thin'. For me, no matter how fat or thin they are, as a good government, United States should serve its citizen as good as possible, especially in term of health care, because many people in United States still could not afford those payment. In my opinion, it is mean and cruel when we leave people out there without having insurance towards their life. It is a matter of human rights, being sick and die is everyone's right. Every human beings can sick; so, the US government cannot say that those people who could not get their health insurance are not allowed to be sick. In addition, this movie also showing the reality of those people who are 'sick' with the health care system in USA. They even have to travel until Canada or even abroad, just to get a fair and better health services for themselves and family. In my point of view, it is already way out of the line. This movie really reflects the reality beyond the greatfulness of America that foreigners do not know. The government should do some modification on it if they still want to be calles the Superpower country.

Paraphrase

In general, people may split ethical and legal matter, business manager who is not get special knowledge as a lawyer still ambiguous about scope between these matters. The manager has responsibility to make business decisions and not able to manage ethical and legal matter. When there is idea that legal and ethical are not related, many people assume that good businessmen able to differentiate about ethical and legal matter. When there are some legal matters are real, many ethical decisions caused civil lawsuit. In fact, many ethical quarrel can be solved through formal procedure which are civil protest and lawsuit.

Sex for Sale

When it is a topic about the right of “Sex for Sale”, there are pros and cons about that statement. But I’m totally agreed with it. The reason is because sex for sale or prostitution is somehow a good way to improve the economic. Well, the reason is difference from one people from the other. Most of the reasons come out is because of the economic condition of the ‘prostitute’. It’s also not our concern how they live their life. Because it’s their own life, they can choose whatever they want to be as long as not disturbs other people. We can’t blamed the government for this, because most of the ‘prostitute’ still doing it even though they know the risk. We should find the reason why it can be happened instead of blaming each other finding the scapegoat for these issues. Beside that, the government duty now is not banned the prostitution. Instead, they should make it legal by organizing and giving the rules about it. By organizing the prostitution we can reduce the spread of disease, the underage prostitution, the place, and also the income in example of the tax. The needs of sex will not disappear from this world, so organizing is much better than banned it.

Pros and cons About Arranged Marriage

Arranged marriage is a common things long time ago. But nowadays, people believe that arranged marriage is unusual. These have pros and cons argument related to this topic. I believe that arranged marriage nowadays is not important and should not be done. There are many reasons why arranged marriage should not be done.
People long time ago believed that arranged marriage can make their happy because the parents know all the best for their child. However, is this really what happens? Usually parents think they know all the best for their child, but in reality, they even don’t consider about their child feeling. Marriage can’t be done just because it has already arranged before. The important thing such as love is needed between the couple before they get marriage. It’s important to know each other well before they take a step into a marriage.
Next, arranged marriage can’t guarantee that the marriage can be last long and forever. Many marriage happened to be failed, because they are not suitable each other anymore. This can also cause by the ignorance of the marriage itself. Just because our parents told us to get marriage, doesn’t mean that we get marriage. We should realize the important of the marriage itself. It’s not a lover, that if we don’t like it anymore we can break up.
Moreover, the arranged marriage can be mislead someone just because their parent interest. There are many case in arranged marriage, that the parents sold their child because their own debt or other own interest. This should not be done; the arranged marriage is use for other way of crime. The victims, in this case the daughter, usually become traumatic in having their marriage life. In USA, there is a regulation that this kind of criminal of arranged marriage can get into jail.
In conclusion, the arranged marriage should not be done. There are many negative reasons why the arranged marriage should not be done. But I think the most important one is about love. Well, it’s depending on the people itself. Rather they want to marriage by choose their own partner or still want to be arranged by their parent.

When people divided ethical and legal issues, the limit between those two are confusing to the business manager who is not same like a lawyer. The manager is told to make a business decision and also have a responsible for the management of legal and ethical problems. While the legal and ethical decisions are independent, people make assumption that the high executives “unintentionally” identify the difference in legal and ethical issues. When there are some legal issues that clear enough, many limited ethic decision are giving impact on the civil judiciary. In fact, the civilian complains and the judiciary is a formal way to resolve the ethical problems between two communities.

Prostitution

There are two perspectives that will appear if we talk about prostitution. Some people think prostitution should be legalize but other people strongly disagree with prostitution. People who agree to prostitution should be legalized will think that prostitution is a right of the prostitute itself, because it's their own body so they can do whatever they want. And it is better being a prostitute rather than being a criminalist, because prostitution didn't harm anybody even it could satisfied others need. On the other hand, there are a lot of reasons why prostitution should not be legalized, and all of the reasons are related to ethic. It is so unethical if prostitution is being legalized because, first of all, prostitution will lower the morals of the nation, because prostitutes sell their body just the same like they selling their dignity. Second reason is prostitution automatically will increase the level of abortion and also HIV Aids', because prostitiution brings free sex life style to the community that will leads to Abortion and HIV aids. Last reason is there are still a lot of better job rather than being a prostitue, why dont they choose more respectable job instead of decided to being a prostitute that makes themselves being humiliated. In brief, there are to perspectives if talk about prostitution. Some people do not have objections to prostitution, but some strongly disagree with prostituin. Both arguments have strong reasons which supports their arguments.

I, as a woman, disagree with sex is for sale. Even though that our situation is very difficult and in a depressing economy, selling our body is a very painful thing to do. Many women think that prostitution can get them out of difficult economic condition easily, but that is a wrong idea. It would be dangerous if they think that prostitution is an easy way out, especially for underage girl. Prostitution could lead to various sexual l transmission diseases such as syphilis, genital herpes, AIDS, etc. Moreover, prostitution can destroy their future and destroy their morale. They need to get education properly to love their own body, to understand how precious a woman can be, and how they treat themselves. There are a lot of jobs that can produce money other than selling themselves, though it is not easy and not giving high income. At least, they still have a future to be a better person than falling into the pit of prostitution. In brief, prostitution only indicates our poor morale and our education. Prostitution will increase the problem rather than reducing it.

Prostitution

Since several times ago, prostitution has become one of major problem for many countries in this world. Prostitution reflect the statement “SEX FOR SALE”, I strongly disagree with this statement. Even though people can earn a lot of money from prostitution, but it is illegal and give many negative effects for themselves and other people. For example, the prostitutes are vulnerable to sexual disease such as HIV. Moreover, the prostitute may earn a lot of money, but they might only enjoy the money to shop and buy the products temporarily since they will need the money to pay the health treatment. Another negative effect of the prostitution is it can ruin the life of marriage couple, if one of them cheating with the prostitute and they can also be infected by HIV disease or other sexual disease.

Moreover, the prostitution is illegal because they do sexual relationship with other people who are not their husband or wife according to law. In addition, many underage children and people with low economic conditions are forced to be a prostitute; even they are trafficked to other countries. Besides, prostitution can also cause another crime such as drug dealing which is also illegal. Every government of the countries in this world should take legal action and prohibit prostitution. The prostitution escort should be arrested and got punishment according to law, whereas, the prostitutes should be rehabbed and got appropriate counseling.
Furthermore, there is also an opinion that prostitution should be legalized, but I also disagree with this statement because it only provide negative effect for the society and there is no good benefit can be earned from prostitution.

Group Survey

Our group members : Feresia , Jessica and Khristy. Our group was doing a survey about ' Types of Student Accomodation and Any Problems Rising'. We asked 15 boys and 15 girls. The result that we got : for student who live in Jakarta , they prefer go to campus from they own house. Traffic jam and distance are the problem that they face. For student who live outside Jakarta, they prefer rent a room near from campus. Distance and expensive are the problems they face.

I strongly disagree with the statement, that mention ”sex for sale “ because I believe that there are many things we can do rather than selling your body. I also disagree if these prostitutions happen in people underage, because children who underage should be think about the education compared to think about their body it self. In addition “sex for sale “ is same like prostitution, and prostitution is illegal in some countries such as Indonesian. However, prostitution can increase the rate of abortion, which abortion is also illegal because is against a human right. In Some countries, prostitution is illegal because prostitution can brings people to the deeper level of poverty. Based on my research there is more 5000 young people underage involved being prostitution, and the level of poor attendance in school is higher from time to time and it keep increasing. If this stay happening in our country I strongly believe that our country cannot be develop in the future, because if the children are not educated well, we have to remember that our country is in our children hand.

nowadays, many teenagers who under 18 years old have been prostituted. they have been walking around in the midnight to get more money instantly and waited for the rich man who called them. In Indonesia, i still considered it as an illegal things but it has not been implemented in a whole area in Indonesia. In my opinion, i really agree with the statement that mention " if someone wants to accept my money to have sex with me, what is the problem?". Because, if men want to have a sex with the girl and they have their own money, it has no problem with that. And the men should know what is the bad effect for their body such as disease, sins, and reputation , etc. And for the girl, perhaps the only reason why they are doing that kind of things is to fulfill their needs and wants. normally, the girls who are doing that kind of things is bad girl with do not have a good education, and poor. Sometimes, beautiful girl has also being prostituted.

Nowadays, there are many illegal things in our country. One of the most popular illegal things is Sex for Sale or Prostitution. Some people are agree and some are disagree. For me, myself, I strongly disagree with prostitution. There are some factors that support my opinion. Firstly, based on the law in our country said that prostitution is illegal and against the religion things. Secondly, it is because you should think about your future or your family. Will your wife accept that you had tried the prostitution? How about your children? How about the health? If we talk about prostitution, we can not avoid from HIV/AIDS thing and abortion. You can get HIV/AIDS because of the prostitution. It also can increase the abortion level in our country. If you are doing abortion, it means you are a killer. Thirdly, it is about human rights. The girls who are doing the prostitution maybe because of some reasons, such as need money, and they have no choice to get the money. However, we should think about their future. How if they are underage? How if the get pregnant? Who will take responsibility for the baby and her? Some of they maybe do not want to do that things. In conclusion, as a good citizen, especially as a woman, I strongly disagree with prostitution. We should ban and clean up our country from prostitution to keep the morals of our country and we as a woman especially.

Sex for sale, could be said as prostitution. Prostitution is a forbidden job that has to be cleaned. In this case, the foolish object is women. They don't think wisely before take a decision for life. They thinks that being a prostitute could solve every problem they have, because they could get big amount of input rather than having another work to save their family or life. They might be didn't know what would be their consequences by doing prostitution, especially for themselves. First, for the women under age, they wouldn't get any enough education for them to live their life in the future, especially when they don't have any customer in the day later. This could be a question mark for them that how they going to survive the rest of their life later on. Moreover, they could get disease as such HIV or AIDS, which could affect their "work" and life virus. If citizen thinks that government should legalize the prostitution, then government have to do it strictly, by giving the rule to have only some place for prostitution, because people, especially Indonesian have short way of thinking, which could let them start a new prostitution area with reason that "the government has supported it, then why we couldn't open a new area?!”. If that happen, then the rule hat has been launched by the government wouldn't have any value. In addition, a girl's virginity would be a "playing things" for those who doesn't have heart and for the "itchy" girl, without any opportunity for them to repentance. By this, I disagree with the statement that "sex for sale".

Nowadays, many people do wrong in making money because of limitation of the their skills. They find out the easy way that do not need any special skills to do. Lot of girls trying to making money by selling their self and the sad thing about that is many under age girls doing this to get a money, so they can buy a lot of good stuff without seek the money from their parents. Many of the girls selling their self is not because their parents can not fund their needs, but they doing that because of they want to and they want to know more about that things. There are so many illegal activity of prostitution in Indonesia that make a community feels uncomfortable with it. Many places became a place to do this prostitution. Government should do something to stop prostitution in this country to create a healthy and good community . Sex for sale’ I am totally disagree with that statement. Sex should be for love, not for money or for anything else. Don’t sell your body because of economical reasons. A woman can do another job to get money to fulfill their needs. For example, a woman can be a maid. And that job is better than doing a prostitution. Even though prostitution is difficult to be eradicated , but government should begin the action. If government think that prostitution can increase the income , that is a big mistake. Don’t always think about money , there are many factor that related with prostitution. Such as moral , human right , religion , etc . Our country are based on law and religion . Every religion proscribe prostitution. So , stop prostitution start now . The man should please a woman , and the woman also should please their self.

Even though people start to divide between ethical and legal issues but that is not suitable to all people, like the business manager who is not trained as a lawyer. They trained to make some decision and at the end they are someone who has the responsibility. Someone usually woman who earn money by providing services for the men in return for payment is prostitution. is it prostitution illegal or legal? in many country they are illegal. but in Indonesia they are not. Somehow, there are a lot of protitution in Indonesia. I disagree with sex for sale,althought it is their right to use their body for money. But, in someway prostitution is not the easiest way to find money they can be a maid. althought being a part of prostitution is alot more fun and get more money but still is not right for woman to sell their body according to the beliefs.prostitution is only make the country lose their moral and its cannot help the growth of the country.

In my opinion, sex and prostitution are still against the right for women. It is alright that some people, especially the men, are saying that women could earn more money through the 'one night love' than doing any other jobs. However, the men should think the psychological effects for the women. It is true that most women are happy in receiving money, even though they have to sell their virginity first; yet, we do not know what actually inside the women heart is. Some women and some teenage girls, sell their body just because they want to help their parents, basically economical conditions, or even the reverse, the parents sell their daughter to the pimp. So, I strongly suggest that any activities related with prostitution should be banned and stopped. If the men want to have sex and make love just to release their stress, they could do it with their wive that already legal in law and religion order. Those women who are already inside the 'prostitution world' are actually want to deserve the similar thing for their future husband. They want their body just for their beloved husband. In some how, i agree with the statement that said sex for sale. When someone doesn't have a good education that makes them cannot reach a good position in the office or if someone that loves earn money instantly, they will sell their body by doing prostitution. Why they keep selling "it" while others blame themselves as a dump? It is because they founded a point which they said" I can get "double" by sell sex for the one who need it." they can earn four times or more rather than working in the office. besides, it makes distribution of money will be becoming more better.

Cellphones are a trendsetter in this global era. Now, not only do businessmen use cellphones but also kids, students and housewives. Cellphones are improving every years and they attract people to buy it more. Although cellphones ease people’s life in communication field; they can harm the users too.

Cellphones make us close with our family and friends because we can communicate with them although we are in a far away place. Parents in Indonesia can keep in touch with their son or daughter who is studying in America, for example. They would not feel that they are separated by oceans and continents. Another use of cellphones is that we don’t need to use public phone anymore when we are in emergency situation. If we saw an accident and the victim needs the police or ambulance, we can quickly help him. Still, cellphones have side effects in health area and road safety.

As we know that every electronic things have electromagnetic radiation waves, so do cellphones. The problem is cellphone directly gives radiation to our head when we make or receive call. From the research study by Dr Agarwal, Ph.D, it is shown that the radiation from cellphones can damage our brain cells. As a result, it causes headache, insomnia. The worst case, it can cause cancer, brain tumor, and is one of many factors that can cause alzheimer’s disease. If a person has headaches because of the radiation by cellphones, he will not be able to work efficiently. If the situation continues, he will lose his job.

We know that cellphones are not limited. They can be used anywhere and anytime. However, there is also a risk in using cellphones, especially when we are driving. According to the traffic law we are not allowed to send messages and talk when we are driving because the driver’s attention will be divided. People will not pay attention too much on their vehicle and the surrounding because they are focused on their cellphones. Therefore, when there is a sudden accident, the driver will not have a chance to avoid it.

To sum up, cellphones do ease people’s life, but it also can be dangerous for our life if we over use it. There are dangerous materials that can harm our body if we use cellphones too long. Moreover, not all people consider the place to use cellphones. It absorbed people’s attention until they are not responsive with their surroundings. That is why cellphones give bad impact for human.
